In this blog we are going to talk about a game called Simon Says but we are going to put a twist on it The rules of the game are super simple.The Simon can join in by pretending to be the head robot with all the players under him. The players can go around making sounds like that of metal clanking and repeat patent phrases in an automated tone.

This way of playing Simon Says with a twist is bound to get a couple of chuckles.As the name implies, "Simon Says", with a twist or two.The AD should be able to see all residents during the activity to monitor participation.The residents are seated in a semi-circle, depending on the number of participants.One person is chosen to be Simon and instructs other player on what to do. Watching the other residents responding to Simon can trigger laughter and relaxation. It is a great game to play for the entire family. To provide the residents the opportunity to use cognitive skills in several areas, auditory (hearing), recognizing the command, following directions, interaction and socialization with co-residents, and body movement (exercise).
